2016 Passaic County Fair

PASSAIC COUNTY BOARD OF CHOSEN FREEHOLDER & FRIENDS OF PASSAIC COUNTY PARKS HOST ANNUAL FAIR AT GARRET MOUNTAIN
Live entertainment, rides, games, and more planned for annual event

(Passaic County, NJ) – The Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders in conjunction with Friends of Passaic County Parks, Inc. will be hosting the Annual County Fair beginning Thursday August 18th and concluding on Sunday August 21st at Garret Mountain Reservation. The County Fair will be open from 6pm-11pm on Thursday and Friday, and 3pm-11pm on Saturday and Sunday. Festivities will include two nights of fireworks on Friday and Saturday, carnival rides, an array of food vendors, chess tournament, pony rides and petting zoos, and many other activities for families and children. There will be many features of the Garret Mountain Reservation, including the recently renovated Lambert’s Tower, which will be open to the patrons. The County Fair is being sponsored by an array of private businesses in Passaic County, including Fair Sponsor Schumacher Chevrolet, Lakeland Bank our Amusement Rides Sponsor, United Federated Systems as our Fireworks sponsor, and our transportation services will be sponsored by St. Joseph’s Medical Center and TD Bank.

“I am very excited about our Annual County Fair, and I am very thankful for all of our sponsors who are giving back to their community by partnering with us to host the Annual Fair.” Said Freeholder Director TJ Best. “The fair is a great annual tradition, and we are pleased that it has grown to the success it is today.”

Returning as the Fair Sponsor, Schumacher Chevrolet first opened its doors in July 1932 in Little Falls, and still operates out of its original location on Main Street. Today, it is the third largest volume Chevrolet dealership in New Jersey. The dealership is managed by Mr. Steven Tilton and Mrs. Judith Schumacher-Tilton both longtime supporters of charitable causes, most notably their significant contributions to Camp Hope in West Milford.
