NOTICE TO BIDDERS/ LEGAL NOTICE


NOTICE is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received on March 15, 2017 at 10:30 AM by the County of Passaic, at the Passaic County Procurement Center, located on the 2nd Fl. of 495 River St., Paterson, NJ, 07524 for the following:

C-17-005: Passaic County Courthouse 77 Hamilton Street- Chillers Replacement - City of Paterson

The work includes furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in the specifications and as shown on the construction plans.

The principal items of work to be constructed are:
Base Bid Items
1. Disconnect and removal of (3) three existing chillers
2. Installation, Testing and Start-up of (3) new Chillers
3. Tie- in new chillers to BMS

Proposals, Plans, and Specifications may be obtained at the Passaic County Procurement Center during regular business hours (8:30 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.). Proposals must be submitted on the forms supplied along with 2 additional copies.

Copies of said bidding documents may be obtained upon payment of $25.00, payment may be made by Certified Check, Cashier's Check, Money Order or Business Check ONLY. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED. Bidding Documents, Plans and Specifications WILL NOT be mailed. However, overnight delivery by FedEx can be accommodated at bidder’s cost.
Prospective Bidders shall telephone at least twenty-four (24) hours, or at least one (1) business day in advance to reserve Bidding Documents, Plans, and Specifications.

Proposals must be received at the hour designated in this advertisement at the Procurement Center. The County of Passaic is not responsible for bids delivered or otherwise not arriving on time.

The proposal must be accompanied by all documents required by the conditions and specifications for submitting a proposal. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. & P.L. 1975, C. 127, (N.J.A.C. 17:27-5.2), concerning Affirmative Action Goals and Equal Employment Opportunity.

The bid must be accompanied by a statement setting forth the names and addresses of all stockholders in a corporation or partnership who own ten percent (10%) or greater interest therein. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond, made payable to the County of Passaic Treasurer, for ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, guaranteeing acceptance of the contract, if awarded.

The Board of Chosen Freeholders of the County of Passaic reserves the right to consider the BID PROPOSALS for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof; and further reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive informalities, and make such awards or take action as may be in the best interest of the County.
