| Held annually on the 3rd Tuesday in April. These are non-partisan elections to elect members to the Board of Education and to approve proposed school budgets. Only registered voters may participate in school board elections. Polling hours may vary by school district. All polls are required to be open between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Polling times are printed on your sample ballot. You may also check with your local school board. |
Monday, February 25, 2013 - Nomination Petition Filing Deadline for April Annual School Elections
(before 4:00 p.m. of the 50th day preceding the Election).
Tuesday, March 26, 2013 - Voter Registration Deadline for Annual School Elections (21 days
before Election).
Tuesday, April 9, 2013 - Deadlline to apply for a Mail-In Ballot by Mail for Annual Shcool Board
Elections (not less than 7 days prior to Election).
Monday, April 15, 2013 - Deadline for In-Person Mail-In Ballot Applications for Annual School
Board Elections (up to 3:00 p.m. on the day before Election).
Tuesday, April 16, 2013 - Annual School Board Elections.

Held on the 2nd Tuesday in May. The City of Passaic will conduct a non-partisan election for the purpose of electing:

Three (3) Council-at-Large Members (four years term)
One (1) Council-at-Large Member
(to fill unexpired two years term to expire on June 30, 2015) |
| Petitions will be available at the Office of the City Clerk located at 330 Passaic Street, Commencing Monday, January 14, 2013 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The last day to file Petitions of Nominations is March 11, 2013 (4:00 p.m.). Only registered voters may participate in Municipal Non-Partisan Elections. Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. |

Monday, May 13, 2013 - Deadline for In-Person Mail-In Ballot Applications for Municipal Non-
Partisan Election (up to 3:00 p.m. on the day before Election).
Tuesday, May 14, 2013 - Municipal Non-Partisan Election (second Tuesday in May).

Tuesday, May 28, 2013 - Deadline to apply for a Mail-In Ballot by Mail for Primary Election (not
less than 7 days prior to Election).
Monday, June 3, 2013 - Deadline for In-Person Mail-In Ballot Applications for Primary Election
(up to 3:00 p.m. on the day before Election).
Tuesday, June 4, 2013 - Primary Election Day (Tuesday after first Monday in June).

County Clerks (85 days before the Election).
Thursday, September 12, 2013 - Drawing of Ballot Positions for Municipal Non-Partisan Candidates to
be Voted at the November General Election (for any County Municipal
Clerk must coordinate Ballot Draw).
Tuesday, October 15, 2013 - Voter Registration Deadline for General Election (21 days before
Election).
Tuesday, October 29, 2013 - Deadline to apply for a Mail-In Ballot by Mail for General Election (not
less than 7 days prior to Election).
Monday, November 4, 2013 - Deadline for In-Person Mail-In Ballot Applications for General Election
