“I am looking forward to this year’s annual county fair, which is gearing up to be our biggest fair yet,” said Freeholder TJ Best. “I am very thankful for all of this year’s fair sponsors, both new and returning, who are giving back to the community and providing this annual tradition.”

Returning as the Event Sponsor, Schumacher Chevrolet first opened its doors in July 1932 in Little Falls, and still operates out of its original location on Main Street. Today, it is the third largest volume Chevrolet dealership in New Jersey. The dealership is managed by Mr. Steven Tilton and Mrs. Judith Schumacher-Tilton both longtime supporters of charitable causes, most notably their significant contributions to Camp Hope in West Milford.

In addition to Schumacher Chevrolet, Lakeland Bank and Braen Stone have returned as Event Sponsors for the 2018 County Fair. Lakeland Bank is a local company that operates 53 branches in Bergen, Essex, Passaic, Ocean, Somerset, Sussex, and Union Counties. Braen Stone has been family owned and operated business since 1904, supplying the area with stone, asphalt, and other construction materials. All three event sponsors have supported the county fair in recent years.

“I am proud to support the long-standing tradition in Passaic County, and our partnership with the Board of Chosen Freeholders and Friends of Passaic County Parks, together we put on a spectacular event.” Stated Mr. Tilton. “As a longtime business owner in Passaic County, we know the Freeholders are always great partners and always dedicated to improving the Passaic County Community. Schumacher Chevrolet and my family will continue our support of the County Fair, and help further the growth the fair has seen.”

Garret Mountain is closed to thru traffic during these dates, and patrons are charged $5 per car to enter the fair. Updates can be found at the County Fair’s Facebook page, and the Passaic County website
