2019 Senior Police Academy

The Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the Passaic County Sheriff's Department and the Passaic County Department of Senior Services will present a five-week Senior Police Academy this spring. 

The 2019 Senior Police Academy will be held every Tuesday April 30 through May 28 in the Senior Services Department, located at 930 Riverview Drive, Suite 200, Totowa, NJ 07512. Each session begins at 8:45 a.m. and ends at noon. 

The Senior Citizens Police Academy is designed to increase communication, understanding and awareness regarding services with senior residents and the public. During this five-week course, participants learn about defensive driving and pedestrian safety, fraud and scams directed at seniors, crime prevention and gang awareness, 911 communications and prescription drug/alcohol abuse.
