Beginning May 30, 2019, the Lakeside Avenue Bridge on the border between Pompton Lakes and Wayne, will be closed for construction for approximately three weeks.
Commuters should plan to use alternate routes.
UPDATE: The repairs to the Lakeside Avenue Bridge over the Pompton Lake in Pompton Lakes are complete. The repairs consisted of inlet repairs, installation of ADA ramps, sidewalk replacement, removal of bridge asphalt and waterproof membrane, installation of new waterproof membrane, bridge joints, milling, paving, and striping between Jefferson Avenue in Pompton Lakes and Terhune Drive in Wayne.
The roadway has re-opened to traffic on June 18, 2019. Passaic County continues to invest in our infrastructure.
