In 2018, almost every facility in the Passaic County Park System will be under construction with improvements, including the following major capital projects:
“By maximizing Green Acres and other outside grant funding, and properly managing the monies collected through the Open Space, Farmland, and Historic Preservation Trust Fund, there are a record number of projects under construction in 2018 in the Passaic County Park System,” stated Freeholder Assad Akhter. “We continue to invest in parks, recreation, and historic preservation because it is so important that every child – regardless of circumstance – has access to high quality recreational facilities throughout Passaic County.”
