Nurse’s Aide (CNA) 11pm - 7am | Nursing

Job Description 

Preakness Healthcare Center is a 406-bed nursing facility providing subacute and long-term care. We are currently seeking full-time CNA’s for 11 pm to 7 am that includes working every other weekend on a Saturday and Sunday. Under direction of a nurse or other supervisory staff, performs the non-professional nursing duties involved in the care of residents for their activities of daily living to provide resident-centered care.

Responsibilities will include:

• Provide resident-centered care as a member of the interdisciplinary care team

• Maintain required documentation

• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with residents and staff

• Feeds or assists the patient with meals

• Bathes and or assists patients with bathing, dressing, and changing.

• Prepares patients for special tasks or other medical procedures as required.

Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma

Experience: N/A

Note: Saturday shift begins on Saturday 11 pm until Sunday 7 am. Sunday shift begins on Sunday 11 pm to Monday 7 am.

License: As per NJAC 8:39-43.2, a valid NJ Nurse’s Aide Certification issued by the NJ Department of Health
