Our basic course for police officers, approved by the New Jersey Police Training Commission, is designed specifically for newly appointed police officers. It includes the prescribed course of study a police officer must complete as a condition for permanent appointment. Law Enforcement agencies will be mailed a complete application package upon request. The completed packet is due 21 days prior to the start of the class.

The Basic Course for Police Officers is scheduled to begin:

- The mandatory Pre-Academy Physical Fitness Assessment(s) will begin by appointment ONLY on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 06:45am, and will continue on Tuesdays and Thursday mornings as needed.
