- Construction of an exercise area with outdoor exercise equipment and safety surface.
- Construction of a gazebo.
- Improvements to the water supply to the park for existing comfort stations and the new comfort station.
Garret Mountain Reservation, located in both Woodland Park and Paterson, is one of Passaic County’s most frequented parks. The original landscape was designed by the famed Olmsted Brothers Firm. The 310 acres of recreational space sits more than 500 feet above sea level, with scenic views of Paterson and the New York City skyline. Lambert Castle and Lambert Tower, two of Passaic County’s historic sites, are also located within Garret Mountain Reservation.
The park contains a multitude of facilities and amenities that provide a wide variety of activities for park users, such as fishing, hiking, walking, biking, birdwatching, horseback riding, sightseeing and picnicking.
